Josephine Patino has devoted her life to alternative health and healing. Her greatest joy is bringing her knowledge and experience to others as both a teacher and practitioner. “I truly believe that we heal ourselves, but need the occasional professional to guide us to the method and through the motions of healing.”

Yoga

Basic Hatha Yoga
Suitable for beginners, this class emphasizes the breath as well as gentle movement and stretching.


Gentle Yoga
Specific asanas are combined to provide the maximum therapeutic benefit. The body is invigorated, and the mind is relaxed.

Happy Baby Yoga
Open to mothers and babies age 6 weeks to 12 months, this is a beautiful way for mothers to connect physically, emotional, and spiritually with their babies through simple stretching and massaging the body, mind and spirit.

Restorative Yoga
Active relaxation and hands-on adjustments melt stress away. A focus on movement of the spine, alternatively stimulating and soothing internal organs, the student is renewed and re-energized in mind, body and spirit.

Vinyasa Yoga
For a student already familiar with basic hatha yoga, this class offers an emphasis on linking the breath with movement and proper alignment.

Yin-Yang Yoga
Yin-Yang Yoga is an original concept developed by Josephine which integrates her knowledge and experience of vibrational and holistic techniques and the principles of the Five Element Theory with the age-old practice of yoga for healing and balancing.


Body Work and Alternative Healing

Reiki
Reiki is a hands-on healing technique in which the practitioner aims to reduce stress and promote healing by ‘laying on hands’. The life force energy is restored and balanced, the body is made healthier, and the spirit is soothed.

Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a hands-on healing technique in which the practitioner applies pressure using the fingers and palms to correct imbalances in the body and to promote health.

Sound Therapy
Sound Healing is completely painless and non-invasive. Treatments tools include singing bowls, Tibetan bell, symphonic gonging and drumming.
